Happy Tail

Thank you for taking good care of me. I think I have found a new family to hang out with, they seem to like me alot. we play pool, hang out in the sunroom and watch TV together. They play with me till I get tired and have to take a nap. They took me to the vet today and got my rabies shot I didn't like that much but I got to come back HOME that made me very happy. Here are some pretty good pictures so you can see what I've been up to.

Thanks Again

Our wonderful dog

We absolutely love our dog previously named Benny but changed to Willy. He is sweet, cuddly and really talkative sometimes. We got him on october 1st and we don't know when his birthday was because he was a stray dog but we just said that we should place his birthday on october 1st. He also loves a good car ride with daddy or mommy. He is also a super watchdog, and loves our other little dog Ralphie and our previous cats. He is very funny because he likes carrots and loves his field and backyard.Hopefuly S.P.O.T will be successful as always and keep " Saving pets one at a time".

Thor the Great

We adopted Thor this summer to add to our 4-legged family. He has been a great addition and a wonderful companion to our 3 year old German Shorthair.
They do everything together; from eating to playing to sleeping...
You can't hardly see where one ends and the other begins.

Thank you so much for SPOT bringing him into our lives!

Bentley

Teresa
Quick update. Bentley is doing well. He appears to love his new home. I think he spends most of the day watching the birds in the feeder, or dreaming about it.
He starting to learn my schedule and is watching for me to come home and is waiting
We made our 1st trip last weekend to the pet store. He still thinks when he loaded in the car he going to a new home or the vet. I am sure after a few more trips he will grow to love it. He likes the attention.
He is doing well with the house rules, you did a good job teaching him manners.
He love my BF, they get along well.
I have included a photo,
Take care

Warrick Brown Ferreira

Just over a year ago, Warrick found our home through a Petfinder.org advertisement and we were fortunate enough to be able to adopt him. Warrick is a Chocolate Labrador/American Pit Bull mix which gives him good energy and just a wonderful temperament. About the only thing which upsets my best friend is being separated from his pack - he's just a very social guy.

Warrick loves daily walks either on the leash or on the treadmill (yes, really!) but his favorite thing in the world is a plain, green tennis ball. He doesn't care if you're throwing the ball hundreds of feet with a Chuck-It or just tossing it into the air to catch, that tennis ball is the best thing in the world, and life is just about the greatest if one of his 20 or so tennis balls is nearby.

Warrick loves everyone and I've only had him react to a very stressed and anxious dog once. Mostly, Warrick just wishes to find someone to run and play with. Our existing senior dog, Kujo is simply too old to play with a year old youngster, so just a few months ago, we adopted a young APT we named Zoey. Warrick was so gentle and caring while Zoey was integrating into the home. It was amazing to see the care he would use with her when teaching her the art of the tug-rope or chase. She's bigger than the pictures show now, so the play is a little less careful, but they have become best friends. I attribute this mostly to my wonderful boy Warrick.

I want to thank SPOT for the great work they are doing, especially with the bully breeds. Warrick, Zoey and Kujo are all amazing representatives of the Pit Bull community, and each was a rescue! How cool is that? If it were not for SPOT and other great rescue organizations, our family would not have great furry friends to share our lives with.

Sincerely,
John Ferreira and family

To my foster mom Jen

Just wanted to type you a quick note and say thanks for rescuing me from an unknown life and feeding me for a few weeks until I was old enough to eat on my own. You named me Junior, but my my mom and dad call me Jimmy. They adopted me July 3, 2010. They thought I was lonely while they went away to work so they got me a little brother, Joey. It took us a little while to figure out who the top "dog" was in the house but now we get along great! I have trained my parents very well and they now do everything I ask them to. I even got a cat door installed to my secure outdoor deck so I no longer have to wait for them to open the door. My mom makes cat beds for the Seattle Humane Society and my brother and I have stolen our fair share before she can get them to the car. We have beds EVERYWHERE in the house so anytime we feel like taking a nap there is one close by. Thought you would like to know how well I am doing and that I am loved and pampered. (I like my dad the best, we
spend hours in the garage together, I roll on the cool ground and he stops what he is doing to give me belly rubs.)

Much Love Jimmy (Junior)

Enzo

We adopted Obie, now Enzo, almost three months ago, and everyday we thank our good fortune that we got to the adoption event right when it started! We were the first ones to see him that day, and when we took him into the nearby field for a walk, he rolled right over for some belly scratching and loving. We were hooked!

Enzo is an amazing dog: loving, handsome, smart, extremely good natured and playful, and a total goofball. He is a constant source of amusement, watching him play and navigate new experiences. We took him to the Oregon Coast and he had a blast chasing a frisbee and playing in the breakers! He was aces in his obedience class, I actually think he got bored! He knows sit, down, stay/wait, come, turn, back up, up, off, big hug, drop it (sort of), and leave it. We're planning on enrolling him in backyard sports/agility this fall which I think he will love.

Thank you so much for bringing Enzo into our lives, we are so grateful! And thank you for all the work you are doing to find these dogs a caring home and family.
