LUlu

Thanks so much for my new baby LuLu. She has become such a wonderful new member of Our family that I can't tell you how much she means to us. She has her quirks but they are so over overcome that they are a non issue. She loves us non judgementally it's a non issue. Too bad the world can't see it the same way. She doesn't care who we are nor who we would like to be. She just loves us. Damn that feels good, just non judged love.

A Tail Wagging Thanks

Dear SPOT,

Just wanted to give you an update on the little female Pit Bull our family adopted from you back in October, Hope (now named Nina, pronounced Nee-Nah).

She adapted to her new life here with us fast and is a VERY valued, loved and amazing family member! Her and our 21 month old toddler Connor are inseparable and can normally be found either playing around the house or cuddling together on the couch. At 4 months now she knows her basics of sit, lay down, stay, out of the kitchen (lol!), no jumping, fetch, is completely potty trained and more! She's great with all people and dogs and will be getting into her puppy training classes soon for more socialization. I can confidently say she is our Pit Bull Ambassadog as everyone she meets loves her, and she loves them. And boy does she have the looks! She's overall just a perfect dog: healthy, beautiful and smart. (I always get compliments from the vet!)

That being said we wanted to sincerely thank you for rescuing her and giving us the opportunity to adopt her. This is her forever home.

Sincerely,
Misty, Grant and Connor

(P.S. Huge thanks to Michelle for taking such good care of her before she came home to us. We will also send more pics as she grows!)

Thanks SPOT

Dear SPOT, I wanted to thank you for 7 years of joy. In early 2003 I adopted my cat, Dolan, as a kitten from your organization. From his first day, he was a spoiled and pampered housecat. I had made him a nice basket with a heat lamp to keep him warm and he cried until I let him sleep on my chest. He never slept away from me if he could help it. He went through 2 boyfriends, and was with me when I married my husband. He loved my husband as much as myself from the time we moved in together. He's a world traveler, having been back and forth from Germany twice. Sadly, he succumbed to liver failure earlier today. Despite mine and my husband's grief, we want you to know that we would not have had the love and affection of our sweet baby without your organization. If you are interested in having a picture of one of the cats who you gave a chance. Thank you again for your organization and what you do, which gave us so much. Sincerely, Rachel and Chip Boyce

Gus

Hey Guys,

Just wanted to pass along an update. Gus is doing really well and is growing fast. Last week we took him into the Vet for a wellness check up and he is already 4 lbs! We had his ears cleaned as well. Everyone at the Vet's wishes all of the kittens that they have to deal with were like Gus. They all wanted to keep him.

Gus really likes our Corgi Macy. He is always trying to be around her. Macy was really good buds with our old cat and must remember that because she is really good around Gus.

During Thanksgiving we had lots of people around the house and Gus was not skittish at all. He was really sociable and wanted to be around everyone. Gus sure has a motor on him.

Thanks again for letting us adopt Gus,

Shayne, Amy and Olivia

Happy Katie

Hi Jen and Mike,

Just wanted to let you know that Katie is doing well and send you a pic. You'll be surprised to learn that Thanksgiving is a favorite holiday for her. She enjoyed her fair share of turkey! She's logging many hours by our wood stove and watching birds at the feeder. Hope you are doing well and enjoy the holidays.

Cheers!
